Our Minds...What Power They Contain!

so i bought eternal sunshine for the spotless mind ...
i've owned it for five days now, and i have watched it a total of 4 times. its amazing how much i love this movie. is it perhaps because my biggest fear is losing a memory so dear as the ones that joel was about to lose??
my favorite..absolute favorite part of the entire movie is when clementine and joel are under the covers and she asks if he thinks she's pretty. she tells a little story of how she thought she was ugly when she was a kid. the way she described such a feeling was so true to how you really do feel as a kid.
as the memory is erased from joel's mind he says, "no, please let me keep this one. just this one memory."
i remember conversations under the covers. those heart to hearts or even just randomings of each other....skin on skin...snow days...those are the memories i hope to never lose. those are the memories that if i were losing, i'd sound just as desperate as joel did...
please let me keep this one...just this one!
