movies...whoever created them..*whispers and looks upward to the heavens* " thank you!"

monday night, went to the movies with my nephew, jayden, to see the new spongebob movie. very nice.
***which by the way, there HAS to be something wrong with the fact that jayden can tell you exactly who "Squidward", "Plankton", "Patrick", "Mr. Eugene Crabs", "Gary", and "Spongebob Squarepants" are without ANY speech impediments...but yet all the leaves on our "frees" are changing colors, and he will never kiss any "Burls"...strange, peculiar, down right bizarre.hmmp!*shrugs shoulders and moves on*

so are you a goofy goober, yeah? patrick, fat pink starfish, is my new favorite character. all this time, i thought spongebob was such the cutie with his little obsessive compulsive perfectionist ways....but NO! patrick! ohhhh, there's nothing like a fat, dumb guy.....aaaahhhhhhhh.....and we were even graced with the presence of David Hasselhoff. amazing. *hand to chest and gasps* MY! he has a great back *winks, then turns and pukes*...

even better than the movie, was the freakin' previews

all new, all wonderful...Bewitched, the movie.
how great! totally grew up wishing so badly that i could be tabitha. i wanted to be a little witch, and even more i wanted samantha as my mom. but, i guessed i'd just settle with watching the series every morning and pretend i was tabitha when i played in my backyard.

so the cast is really the mind-scrambler here. nicole kidman...yes, samantha. quite a nice choice if you ask me. needs to work on the nose wiggle, but quite a match in looks and stature. gotta hand it to them.

but then here's the kicker...darrin stephens - will ferrell. strange! but might work.

can't really feel kidman and ferrell together, but could very well be a possibility.

THEN! any lemony snicket fans out there?!?....oh yes, my friends...series of unfortunate events is coming to the big screen. and guess who is Count Olaf?

and Sephano?!? AND Captain Sham?!?

None other than Jim Carrey!...yep.

and of course, for your sentimental side...Because of Winn Dixie, by Kate Dicamillo....also coming out. and just when you think that the craziest choice of casting has surfaced lately, this one stars Dave Matthews!! My LOVER!...(thanks trish for reminding me)...i shall definitely see that one just for the sake of drooling over my davie.

And don't forget about Charlie and the Chocolate Factory...which i'm assuming, though i love me some Gene Wilder, will be awesome and dark like the book with Johnny Depp as Willie....
perhaps we'll see another side of Grandpa Joe...perhaps the more "villianish" side of Grandpa Joe, as we all know how he should be....perhaps i shall explain my theory among another entry, but oh yes, dear children, grandpa was E-VILL!

i love it when a big bust of great movies fills the theaters....we've been going through a dry spell, not much was interesting me. but hehehehe *devilishly rubs hands together* now my holiday plans are complete!...nothing but movie seats and popcorn buckets, baby.

ok movie buffs...have at it. teachers, get your field trip approval forms ready and start reading some novels to those kiddies!
