to me...

11.20.2004 - 8:34 a.m.

in regards to lacuna...

nah - i'm really not looking to forget someone, but wouldn't it be cool to relive all those memories one last time before they're gone....

i think so.

*****

this week being American Education Week, we had all sorts of neat activities at school....

one was a trivia question a day...well would have been cool if my kids were a little more intelligent than pillbugs.

take a look:
Monday's Trivia - What does the "B" stand for in Junie B. Jones?? (**i do a GREAT Junie B. impression and we read these CONSTANTLY in my class...so in other words, i told them if they didn't know it, i was gonna spank them)

one answered - 6
another answered - the one with the cake

BRILLIANT!

Thursday's Trivia - What natural disaster is known for its high wind speeds and funnel-like clouds?

one - toonda
another - stor
another - whater
another - clouds
another - 600

God Bless 'Em...

then of course, Friday's Trivia - Who was the first President of the United States??(**now a little explanation, kindergarten - 2nd grade had the question of who is the US Pres. today? and ours was the 1st pres for 3rd - 5th grades)

all of which, everyone laughed at both questions because they were SO easy!

11 out of 14 kids put - George W. Bush
one - john kerry (hehe, i liked that one)
one - jorsh wasingter
and the closest of all - Georg W.

BUT!!! does she mean "Dubya" or "Washington"....i don't know, its a doozie...

and of course to close up our week of learning....we had "Book Character Dress-up day"

i was Stephanie from Stephanie's Ponytail....and i'd sneak off at little times during the day and kept moving around my ponytail all over my head...

we had a parade of the characters at the end of the day....and that's when i wore my ponytail right in front. there's a page in the book where steph's ponytail is right in front of her face and she keeps bumping into everything...so of couse i had to do that....

The kindergarten loved it most! I've never heard such laughter...

now i'm going to the christmas show...time for some southern livin'
