old people and parallel parking 08.19.2003 - 6:02 p.m. so today i went back to my classroom, and still needed to go to the store for more stuff.....so i took a 1/2 day and went to Wal-Mart and the outlet mall during lunch so i could come back to school and set up some more stuff... while at the outlet mall, i pass by a park bench with 3 sitting old ladies and two standing. because i'm nosey, i eaves drop a little.....and here it goes... sitting old lady #1 - charlie wrecked again. sitting old lady #2 - wha? how, margerie? sitting old lady #1 - well, he was trying to parallel park and he hit somebody. standing old lady #3 - oh yeah, girl, when ever i gotta parallel park i just drive around 'til i find me an angled parking place. sitting old lady #2 - yeah that parallel parking can be a doozie, is ole charlie ok? sitting old lady #1 - yeah he's ok, he just is a little sore. as i'm walking by, i'm thinking...gosh, this is just like that big gulp caprisun commercial where the grandparents are trying to parallel park that ALWAYS makes me laugh out loud like a man. i love when the little old lady throws her hands up and says "Whoa!" the little old ladies were too cute. they were just havin a little chat. and the other 2 were just kind of staring off into space. i wondered if they were even alive. heheh old people can be quite entertaining at times. but watch out for 'em on the road....Let em work, let em live! � |
